A little bit of mixed media

A Inky Mess

Went live this morning this is my mixed media challenge blog.

A lot of people get confused by what mixed media actually is and think they can't enter a challenge when they see it.

Mixed media is actually two different forms of eg. a mixed media piece could involve ink, paint, pencil, pens  etc using two or more of these items is classed as mixed media.

You could make a collage or a card or a canvas using two or more of these items.

Here is my tag I made for the challenge.

For my design team make I took a tag

And covered it with corrogated cardboard

and painted it blue

when this was dry I layered plain white paper over the top and let it dry.

I then scraped some of the paper back.

I then took some tim holtz distress ink using walnut stain and shabby shutters

and inked the card.

Finally using some acrylic stamps and randomly stamped.
